Jessica McDaniel, PE
Professional Engineering Consultant
Well Cementing SME, Class VI Cementing Specialist
About
Jessica has fifteen years of well cementing experience focused on proper design, execution and evaluation of cement jobs. Her work has focused across several major US shale plays including the Permian, Haynesville, Eagle Ford, Marcellus and Utica basins as well as offshore California, the Gulf of Mexico, and Alaska. As a subject matter expert, Jessica has worked with operators to improve life-of-well cement performance in development fields and reduced cementing costs through failure-avoidance and system optimization. Her contributions to major operators have resulted in significant cement NPT reductions compared to average performance in the fields. In addition to working with operators, Jessica has also worked with regulators to help create effective and practical cementing regulations and help redefine how long-term cement integrity is measured and understood.
Jessica has been certifying primary construction and abandonment cement programs for over 7 years. She has certified over 350 wells in the Gulf of Mexico and California coast.
In her free time, Jessica is an avid runner and triathlete.
